HBO Max was looking to build their MaxPop social channels and develop a distinct look and feel, tone, and strategy.

Audience

Primary: adult gen z secondary: young millenials

Our team created a consistent and ownable visual experience across our feeds that featured a bank of design elements ready to apply to each post.

We leveled up the nostalgic-content crossover with a slightly more elevated version. Like Y2K all grown up.

Textured elements give the type, image, and videos more dimension - while a mix of outlined type, black lines, and funky-shaped containers highlight the details.

We incorporated the HBO collection of purples and blues with pops of accent colors, in slightly muted tinge. We also included distinct patterns, funky shapes, and user-friendly stickers and emojis.
